No continuous bank holidays in upcoming two weeks

Banks won’t stay closed for 5 consecutive days ranging from Thursday, a union chief stated on Monday.

“The banks will work on March 31 (Saturday) and there’s no steady holidays as per messages within the social media,” D Thomas Franco Rajendra Dev, Common Secretary of the All India Financial institution Officers Confederation instructed information Company IANS.

He stated banks can be closed on Thursday and Friday owing to Mahaveer Jayanthi and Good Friday.

Saturday will stay open since it’s the fifth Saturday of the month. Banks are solely closed on second and fourth Saturdays.
On April 2, the banks will stay shut for annual closing of accounts.
