Gold in the Indian stadium on Friday, the sixth day of the Asian Games,India won gold medal at men’s rowing quadrangle skull. Sawaran Singh, Dattu Bhokanal, Sukhmet Singh and Om Prakash have achieved this feat.

The team reached the target in 6 minutes, 17.13 seconds. Indonesia and Thailand have won silver and bronze medals respectively.
Bhagwan Singh and Rohit Kumar won a bronze medal at men’s lightweight doubles skulls. The medal winners were congratulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sports minister Rajivardhan Singh Rathore.

Rohan Bopanna and Divijaj Sharon paired Alexandra Bubik and Yveseva 6-3, 6-4 in the men’s doubles final.

In the crucial match, India overcame Pakistan’s challenge of 28-27.
Won in Archery: India Archery Team won by mixed team. India won 155-147 against Iraq in qualifying round.
India’s Manu Bhakar and Heena Sidhu qualified for the final in the 10 meters rifle event of women’s shooting.
